VIDEO: Something Suspicious Happened To NBC’s Broadcast As Cris Collinsworth Appeared To Get “Zapped By Roger Goodell” After Criticizing The Refs During Chiefs-Ravens Season Opener

The Kansas City Chiefs seemed to have some help during their opening game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night

The defending Super Bowl Champions had some early flags go

their way, with the visiting Ravens getting penalized for multiple offsides.

Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo was also strangely allowed to call a timeout heading into halftime despite assistant coaches generally not being permitted to do so.

At one point, the refs failed to call a false start on Chiefs tackle Jawaan Taylor. NBC’s Cris Collinsworth pointed it out, but the broadcast suddenly went silent for several seconds.

Fans Were Fuming At The Kansas City Chiefs After Seeing The Missed Call

Fans expectedly raged online after watching the missed call.

“So this rule applies to 31 teams but Mahomes’ team gets a pass? What are we doing,” one fumed.

“He does it regularly – did it through out last years playoffs,” someone added.

“Taylor is the worst and most blatant offender in the league and has been through at least last season but I feel like rarely gets called for it,” another fan wrote.

“The KC offensive line gets away with more uncalled false starts and uncalled holding penalties than any team that I’ve ever seen by a wide margin,” a user noted.

“3 peat preparation from the League is off to a good start,” someone else said.

The Chiefs were leading 20-10 early in the third quarter at the time of writing, with Patrick Mahomes his usual brilliant self, throwing 12/18 for 188 yards, though he hadn’t made a touchdown pass and had a pass picked off
